What SPF ZERO costs to run, in US dollars, as billed by Microsoft Azure. These are actual charges from Azure Cost Management, copied into this public edition when it was built (the time is at the foot of the page). Azure reports charges a day or two late, and some fixed monthly charges appear only once they are billed.

What is counted
SPF ZERO is everything built only for this site: its web pages, backend, storage, mail receiver and the network around it, and the AI models it uses (Daylight, the investigator; model tests; transcription of recordings). Shared is eMachinations infrastructure SPF ZERO depends on but shares with other eMachinations sites: the machine its software is built and run from, the domain's DNS, and the sign-in service. Shared costs are shown in full, not divided between sites.
Not counted: Claude, the AI that writes and runs SPF ZERO's software, is paid for separately, outside Azure.
